Born in Saigon. Based in Melbourne.
It’s surreal to call myself a ‘designer’. I’ve always been drawn to aesthetics and the art of crafting — moving stuffs around that makes sense to the eyes and the hearts. My love for design started early, when I was a kid and my dad first noticed my eye for style. He’d trust me to pick out his outfits for special occasions, and it felt like such a small but meaningful way to show how much design could matter in everyday life. That trust and pride he had in me stuck with me, and it’s what sparked my passion for creating things that make people feel something.
Fast forward to university, where I didn’t hesitate for a second — I dove straight into Digital Design. Then came my Master of Design, where I got hooked on research and human-centered design. Along the way, I discovered Service Design and eventually found my sweet spot in User Experience Design, all while leaning on my graphic design roots to bring everything together.
Mentoring = sharing
Mentoring others is one of the things that keeps me energised and passionate about what I do. I’ve mentored people from all over the world, and it’s always a two-way street — I learn as much from them as they do from me.
Over at ADPList, I’ve found my mentor, mentees and a creative community that constantly challenges me professionally and personally. I’ve found my unique position to offer real life experience while listening into people’s pain points on their journey to UX. Putting myself into their shoes helps shape my view and responsibility in the industry.
When the designer doesn’t do design…

baking banana bread. Whenever my hubby couldn’t finish the bananas from the grocery run - Ironically I wasn’t very good at it to start with but after so many trials and wasted bananas, I’m at the point which I’m pretty confident that you’d love to pay for it ;)

playing board games with friends, or just chilling with my cats.
